Matt Stoller asked for contributions to defray expense of covering the Lamont/LIEberman/Schlesinger race. It was difficult for him to ask, it's obvious. I think this race needs as many eyeballs as possible and can benefit from his unique perspective.
I'm just doing my bit to help b/c I think a lot of visitors missed it due to just reading the diary and Breaking Blue headlines, as I often do. I'm in, only for 10 bucks, but if only half of the 60,000 visitors yesterday gave one lousy dollar, the kitty'd be up to 30,000 dollars. He's asking for $1700 more to reach 3000.
This is another product of Dean's 50 state strategy and a contender originally backed by DFA that lost by a slim margin to a political 'name' then won Tuesday night.
